Golf course in Dubai



30 years ago when all of Dubai was just desert the first golf course was born in the 1971: the Dubai Country Club
Since then other courses opened either within and outside the city, many are designed and endorsed by big names such as Tiger Woods, Carl Litton and Ernie Els
Actually Dubai guests six world class golf courses, many people amongst whom British often decide to buy properties near a green helped by the 1,100 residency visas issued in a daily basis from the government to recall foreign buyers and workers.
One of the main golf course is the Dubai Creek Golf Club opened in 1993 and situated in the heart of Dubai. This course was designed by Carl Litton.
Another golf club much loved in Dubai is the Nad Al Sheba Racecourse where it is possible to play in every hours of the day: morning, afternoon and also in the night.
In the 3rd of December 2006 Woods announced "Al Ruwaya , his world’s first golf course designed by his company: "The Tiger Woods Design" with its 7,800 yard, par 72 and 18 holes.

The Emirates Golf Club it's the home of the European PGA Desert Classic which attracts all of the major PGA players.
